I think its been mentioned before in this thread but I think a gamble going after a former NFL player looking to get into coaching could work in this situation (think deion at Jackson st or eddie George at Tennessee st.) Such a bad time for a coaching/staff change. Some of the guys hitting the portal may not leave if the new staff comes in with some good credentials and can make a good pitch to them. Who would he be able to put on staff in May is the tougher question, in my opinion. Potentially promising possibilities. In the end, kansas changing their coach may pay dividends for UB.
